about
Finally, the improvised, assembled, electronic psych doom collage known as Nope Smoker has been released. Each instrument was recorded independently of each other, in single takes, and combined masterfully to take the listener on a journey even better, even more all encompassing, even more transcendental than Steve Lukathor's solos. Put on yer best headphones, grab a case of ale and listen real hard and it will transport you to a rundown venue near you, and to a night where you've paid a fiver to see a bunch of space cadets make barely cogent noise.
This is the record that would have been released if Matthew McConaughey and Miles Davis jammed with Matt Pike, but they were never actually good at their respective creative outlets and the KLF were their managers. That never happened, but we have, despite this setback, managed to record and release the masterpiece that is Nope Smoker.
This album is dedicated to the world's greatest librarian, D.o.S.
